London Witches - Walking Tour

London's witchcraft history is the theme of this tour, and Maria Beadell introduces the women persecuted as witches: the medieval healers, the Elizabethan social climbers, the pagan priestesses, and the wartime mediums. Get ready for moments of street theatre and character acting, in this rollicking walk relating their stories often with comedic surprises. Maria Beadell takes the group to places the women were associated with, including a pagan temple. Maria is an independent writer, performer and actor who is fascinated by women's history in the capital. Treadwell's is delighted to be working with her.
