Magic of Mushrooms - Class

In this class, our favourite plant witch Hannah Sanders uncovers the wisdom of the mushroom, whose lore is littered across British cunning magic and folk story. Neither plant nor animal, fungi are associated with the kingdom of the dead, the realm of the Fey and the otherworldly powers.  The mushroom itself is a gatekeeper to the otherworld, offering a passage to bliss, as well as spiritual and physical nourishment; it contains deep wisdom about aging and death. Hannah Sanders' popular class teaches participants witchy ways to ally with the fungi spirits, and activities to make the mushroom a part of their magical practice.

Hannah Sanders has a doctorate in anthropology and is a longstanding practitioner of folk and herb magic. She was the last apprentice of writer and tarot reader Joyce Collin-Smith, and she is the granddaughter of a well-known Irish fortune teller. Professionally, she is a traditional folk singer.
