Making Simples & Potions – Workshop

Learning to prepare a 'simple' – a single, easily accessible plant with specific magical purposes – is the foundation of herbal potion-making.

In this online workshop, green witch Hannah Sanders teaches students how to work with simples, and use that knowledge to make more complex potions. The group is coached on herb lore and history, and learns the basics of elemental and planetary correspondences to select their plant allies. Students also receive preparation tips, including practical guidance on measurement, dosage and infusion. This is an excellent general introduction to the world of plant magic and folk healing. By the end of the workshop, everyone will understand how to prepare simples with intention and blend plants to create powerful magical remedies.
