Meeting the Sun Gods – Class

Since ancient times, the sacrificial son (sun) has been an important religious figure.

In this class, Rebecca Beattie introduces three important deities associated with resurrection and the sun. While Jesus is well-known in the West, the ancient solar God Mithras is often seen as a precursor to the Christian figure. The ancient Egyptian Father-Son god, Ra Hor Achti, also has many comparable characteristics. First, Rebecca explores contemporary pagan views of these figures, giving details about their mythology and what is sacred to them. Then she explores ways to build a relationship with them. The class concludes with a pathworking to initiate a working connection.
