About The Event
The tradition of herb magic is a long one: most European plants have lore which informs us what they are 'good for': good luck, fame, love, and justice are but a few. This packed half-day teaches the traditional correspondences, planetary attributions, and even some old spells collected in the Victorian era. The practical part of the class consists in working with the herbs hands-on; each person will apply two of the methods taught. Tutor Rebecca Beattie has been working with folk magical techniques for fifteen years. She is a Wiccan priestess, an experienced teacher and a Treadwell's regular tutor. Rebecca is multi-faceted; she is currently completing a doctorate in creative writing; by day she works in a senior position for a large London charity.
We provide all the herbs and supplies, and you take home what you make. Max. 16 students. £40.
Note: This class deals neither with medicinal herbalism, nor healing remedies.
