Subtitled Alchemy for Personal Transformation, this is an excellent book introducing spiritual alchemy. Hauck provides a readable account of the alchemy's influence on Western esoteric movements before dedicating the bulk of the book to exploring alchemy's spiritual teachings, tracing through seven stages of transformation. He also draws on his own personal experience to show how alchemical principles – such as those preserved on the Emerald Tablet – play out in his own life. Exercises and guidance notes for the reader are offered as well.
